Bulgaria set to introduce free visas for Macedonia citizens

Macedonian citizens will be issued free-of-charge visas required for entering Bulgaria, said Bulgarian Ambassador to Macedonia Miho Mihov, Bgnes Agency reported.

Speaking at the ceremony on the occasion of fraternization of the Macedonian town of Stip with Bulgaria's Kustendil, Mihov said he expected from Macedonian authorities to restrain from introducing visa requirement for the Bulgarian citizens.

According to Mihov, an agreement regulating visas issue is due to be signed between the two neighboring countries in September. He also unveiled plans for opening a Bulgarian consulate in Bitola.
