Macedonia Facing Price Shock Because of Electricity Price Rise

Skopje. The increase of the electricity price in Macedonia with almost 15% will most probably cause a price shock in the spheres that are dependent on electric power, Macedonian TV station Kanal 5 informs.
The Regulatory Energy Commission will have to decide today or tomorrow on the new electricity price.
The rise of the electricity price was expected after MEPSO (Macedonian Electricity Transmission System Operator) requested the Commission to allow a 12% rise in the price of electricity and the Austrian owners of ESM-Distribucija – with 14,8%.
