Four hurt in Macedonia market shooting

SKOPJE, Macedonia-Unidentified gunmen fired shots at a coffee shop in the Old Bazaar of Macedonia's capital Wednesday, injuring four men, police said.

All of the injured, including the coffee shop owner, were hospitalized, police spokesman Borce Pesevski said.

Local media, without citing sources, reported that three gunmen were involved in the shooting, and that one of the injured men was in critical condition.

The Ottoman-era Old Bazaar was once a tourist attraction in Skopje, but has attracted fewer visitors in recent years because of rising crime in the area.
