Denmark backs Macedonia on its road to Euro-Atlantic integration

Macedonian Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki met Tuesday with the President of Denmark's Parliament Commission on Foreign Affairs Gitte Lillelund Bech.

Milososki briefed Lillelund Bech on the strategic objectives outlined by Government's program, including Macedonia's accession to EU and NATO, reforms in the judiciary system and Government decision on introducing flat tax in order to attract investments.

Denmark underlined its support to Macedonia on the road to EU integration in the course of the meeting.

Lillelund Bech as President of Denmark's Parliament Commission on Foreign Affairs announced reinforcement of the bilateral parliamentary co-operation. Denmark's parliament representatives are expected to visit Macedonia in 2007, as part of Parliament's plan for enhanced participation in the region. Bech pledged to support Macedonia's EU integration in front of the Danish Foreign Ministry.

Milososki will kick off his Baltic countries' tour on Wednesday.
