Macedonian Defense Ministry Discontinues Contract with MZT After Weapon Scandal

Skopje. The Ministry of Defense of Macedonia discontinued the contract with the MZT company /Metal Processing Plant Tito/, the country’s Minister of Defense Lazar Elenovski said. cited by Makfax.
Meanwhile the head of the Logistics support department of the General Staff of the Macedonian army was dismissed.
These are the first measures, undertaken by the Ministry of Defense in Macedonia after the scandal with three Bulgarian trucks loaded with weapons, held by Macedonian police.
