Macedonian Government Against Buckovski’s Appointment As Ambassador in NATO

Skopje. The President - government consultation talks on the appointment of ambassadors may be blocked if speculations on the names of the candidates are spread among the population. The information was provided by high-standing sources from the cabinet for the Macedonian Dnevnik newspaper.
The newspaper’s sources conceder the information, that former Prime Minister Vlado Buckovski was nominated for Macedonian ambassador in NATO, rather as a “game”.
“We cannot afford to appoint the MP who we used for setting up our election campaign and critics”, the newspaper’s sources declared. According to them, the Buckovski - President Branko Crvenkovski relation have caused the spread of such information, as well as the
relations in the Social-democratic Union in Macedonia.
