Female body found in Tetovo

The body of a 65-year-old female was discovered late Monday near the former correctional facility in Tetovo, Makfax correspondent said.

A by-passer reported the case to the police late on Monday around 11 p.m. According to preliminary investigation, there was a trace of violence on victim's neck. The body was transferred to forensic department at Tetovo's hospital for an autopsy.

According to initial information, the death was caused by drowning. There were bruises on the body caused by dragging.

The estimated time of death was the previous night. There was no immediate word as to the identity of the victim. Tetovo's police have no report on missing person.
