Skopje/Brussels. Macedonian Defense Minister Lazar Elenovski is to meet NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer in Brussels on Thursday, the Macedonian Makfax agency reports.
The main discussion topics will be the progress of defense reforms, Macedonia’s participation in the peacekeeping missions in Iraq, Afghanistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the situation in the region.
In Brussels Elenovski is scheduled to meet also the US, Belgian, Dutch, Estonian and Slovenian ambassadors.
