People in Ohrid protest against intentions of Bulgarian company to purchase a factory for electrical equipment

Ohrid. Chanting ‘Why should Bulgarians buy us’ and holding rocks and bats, workers from the Emo electrical equipment factory in Ohrid protested on Friday against the intentions of the Bulgarian company Energoremont to purchase the factory, a correspondent of FOCUS News Agency informed.
Even though the Macedonian Ministry of Finances did not announce the bid of the Bulgarian holding, they have a position in Emo – they do not wish the Bulgarian company to acquire 41.7% of the factory.
Meanwhile it has been announced that the Bulgarian company was the only one to submit an offer for the bid, which ended on June 27th.
