"Official Sofia continues issuing Bulgarian passports to foreigners and is doing abuse of the ethnic origin of the new Bulgarians, the World Macedonian Congress (WMC) announced, cited by a Macedonian media. CMS urged the Macedonian Government to return the Act of 2002 and “to continue issuing citizenships to Macedonians nationals by origin”.
"Despite despair attempts of Sofia to seek Bulgarians in Albania, CMS will take all measures at the upcoming census in Albania Macedonians to express freely their ethnic, linguistic and religious affinity," the release of CMS says.
