The name of Agim Krasniqi is related to the crisis in the Kondovo Village in the fall of 2004 that accompanied the governmental vote of the time. Albanian rebels of Agim Krasniqi controlled the region of the village for a few months. It turned out most of the armed Albanians were Kondovo residents led by former commander of the National Liberation Army Agim Krasniqi.
In February 2007 Agim Krasniqi and his group were pleaded not guilty on charges of acts of terror.
