The Veles police on Tuesday requested initiating a misdemeanor procedure against Veles resident D.K., in whose yard a statue of Todor Aleksandrov was erected.
The procedure is initiated for misdemeanor per Article 18 of the Law on breaches of public law and order, for unauthorized public placing of flag or coat of arms that does not contain attributes proscribed by law.
The indicted on 02.03.2008 in the yard of his house in Veles unveiled a monument of Todor Aleksandrov without approval of relevant city authorities, is stated in the Police communication.

Surgeon from Veles hospital arrested for bribery
N.N. (63), surgeon in the Veles hospital was arrested on Friday for taking bribe of 250 Euros for performed surgery, announced the Police.
According to the official information, on Thursday law enforcing services received anonymous information that N.N. requested kickback of 250 Euros in his office from children of a patient whom he has already operated.
The money was to be given to him when the patient would leave the hospital.
The Police supplied the patient with marked money that the accused received early Friday in his office.
"After obtaining a court order, the Police searched the office of the doctor, where the money were found, and after that the surgeon was apprehended and will be transferred to Investigation Judge's custody during the day", announced the Police.

Veles pays respect to Macedonian theatre legend Petre Prlicko
A ceremony to mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Petre Prlicko, the legend of the Macedonian theatre was held Monday in the actor's hometown Veles.
On this occasion, a statue of the Macedonian and Balkan theatre legend made by Academician Tome Serafimovski has been unveiled at Culture Park in downtown Veles, near the site where a new theatre house will be built.
Veles mayor Ace Kocevski, the theatrologist Dr Jelena Luzhina and film critic Ilindenka Petrushevska delivered a speech at the ceremony dedicated to Petre Prlicko, staged at Veles City Hall.
This year, a number of events will mark the 100th anniversary of Prlicko's birth. On Friday, there will be a premiere of Nushic's "Somnitelno Lice", in which Prlicko gave one of his best and most brilliant performances when playing the main character Jerotije Pantic. This was one of his most brilliant performances that made him a legend.
With the unrepeatable professional life, accomplishing one of the most impressive carriers in the history of the Macedonian and the European theater, Petre Prlicko was and still remains the good ghost of the Macedonian theater and culture, whose grandiose acting heritage is being valued by theater science as highest-ranking cultural fortune.
The 100th anniversary of the birth of the Macedonian acting legend Petre Prlicko is on March 13. He was born on 13 March 1907 in Veles and died on 16 November 1995 in Skopje
