Forthcoming Belgium EU Presidency has information that the name issue would be solved within next few weeks. This is what Belgian Foreign Minister Steven Vanackere stated, cited by Macedonian Vecer daily.
“I held meetings with top officials in the field of the foreign policy. They are all clear that discretion in talks is in high importance in order representatives of Greece and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to take a decision. We have to be discreet and it is something that would be solved in next few weeks. I would not make statements that could impede the process, but I believe a decision would be found”, Mr. Vanackere said.
