Government to pay for Boskoski defense before Hague Tribunal

Skopje, July 14 (MIA) - The Macedonian Government and lawyer Jedina Rasidovic, who represents former Minister of Interior Ljube Boskoski before the Hague Tribunal signed Friday an agreement, according to which the state obliges to pay the expenses for his defense.

The Government did not want to allow that this issue is abused during the election campaign, although the decision was passed before it had started, reads Ministry of Justice press release.

According to the agreement, the Government is obliged to pay all expenses for Boskoski's defense before the Hague Tribunal, in compliance with the Guidelines for assigning of a defense laywer adopted by the Tribunal.
