Two killed in train accidents in Macedonia

Two people were killed, two injured in two train accidents in Macedonia on Wednesday, according to reports from Skopje.

In one accident, a 14-year-old boy was killed on the spot when a train crashed into a tractor at a railway crossing, local media reported.

An old man was seriously injured and died on the way to hospital. The tractor owner was also badly injured.

After the crash, the same train headed toward a nearby station, where it hit a taxi vehicle. The taxi driver was slightly injured.

The train driver has been detained for questioning, the report said.
