46th Ohrid Summer Festival wrapped up

The performance of the Romanian choir "Madrigal" marked the end of this year's edition of the Ohrid Summer Festival.

In the framework of the official and off programmes of the 46th Festival, which opened on 12 July, 30 concerts, 13 stage plays and 3 bailey performances were held.

The editorial staff of the daily "Vecer" presented for the 19th time the "Golden Mask" awards for best mail and female creations at the Festival.

Salaedin Bilal was awarded the Golden Mask award for best male creation, for his role of the Old Man in the Albanian Theatre's play "Aquarium". The award for best female creation was presented collectively to the ensemble comprising four actresses/singers/dancers participating in the production of the Moscow-based Theatre for Dance and Music "Elena Kamburova" entitled "Absent", directed by Ivan Popovski.
