TALLINN, Aug 16 (Reuters) - Macedonia claimed the first points of the 2008 European Championship qualifying campaign on Wednesday when Goce Sedloski's late goal earned them an impressive 1-0 away win over Estonia in Group E.
Sedloski got the only goal in the 73rd minute when found space in the home defence to shoot past Mart Poom.
It was a deserved lead for the visitors who applied pressure from the start with some fast, free-flowing football, while errant finishing from Estonia spoiled their hopes of equalising.
England, Croatia, Russia, Israel and Andorra complete the group.
