US Ambassador Gillian Milovanovic is due swear-in 49 new Peace Corps Volunteers in Macedonia today.
The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Branko Crvenkovski, is among the dignitaries expected to attend the ceremony that will take place at the Lozar Restaurant on Lake Mladost, near Veles.
The ceremony marks the successful completion of a three-month intensive training program, in which the new Volunteers received language instruction, cross-cultural orientation, and technical training.
Following the swearing-in ceremony, the Peace Corps Volunteers will begin their two-year tour of service in Macedonia.
