SKOPJE, Macedonia, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Two passenger cars collided head-on on a highway in southwest Macedonia, killing six people and injuring another one other.
The cars, with Macedonian and Albanian registration plates, crashed Wednesday afternoon at the Macedonian town of Kicevo, close to the Albanian border, the Makfax.online newspaper said.
The dead included four Macedonians from Kicevo, southwest of the capital Skopje, and two Albanians, police said.
A Macedonian man suffered serious injuries in the collision.
An investigation into the crash was under way.
