Macedonia Hosts Euroatlantic Partnership Council Summit in June

Skopje. Macedonia is to host the summit of Euroatlantic Partnership Council established in 1997 as a successor of the then Euroatlantic Cooperation Council, the Macedonian A1 TV channel informs.
The summit is to be held in Edirne in June. The Euroatlantic Partnership Council comprises 26 NATO member states and 23 partner states.
Within the preparation process NATO officials are to visit Edirne today to inspect the sites, infrastructure and security conditions. The officials should assess whether Edirne is well prepared to host the summit, and give advice about eliminating any faults.
