Macedonia's border towns will become a very appealing shopping destination for Bulgarians according to the Macedonian newspaper Dnevnik.
The article in the newspaper claims Bulgarians from the country's border areas will rush to shop and dine in Macedonia after the EU accession will make living standard more costly.
It is not only traders and restaurant owners who have stepped up preparations for the wave of Bulgarian clients. It is also hairdressers, doctors and dentists who expect they will face more patients from Bulgaria.
Dnevnik newspaper also claims prices of meat, cheese, eggs and sugar in Bulgaria have already jumped with 20%.
