Skopje. It costs only EUR 10.00 for registration and opening of a firm in Kosovo and this happens for one day only. It is far easier to open a company in Kosovo than in Macedonia and Serbia, the handbook for trans border trade shows, cited in Vreme newspaper. The research showed that the procedure of registering a firm in Kosovo was one of the easiest and quickest in Europe. Five days were necessary in order to register firm in Macedonia and the same procedure takes between 20 and 25 days in Serbia but depending on a kind of the firm the procedure could last even to three months.
