Macedonian Railways director punishes trade union chairman

The chairman of the trade union in Macedonian Railways Risto Pejovski has been suspended from his post at the order of the company’s director Blagoja Krstevski, Macedonian Dnevnik daily writes.

Pejovski was sacked for infringing on the authority of Macedonian Railways. The newspaper says he was the first one to warn that the trains in Macedonia are not safe and there is a risk of a train accident, something that happened a little bit later. Krstevski, the daily writes, was not punished for the three accidents in the past month.
