The meeting between the leaders of the biggest parties in Macedonia has finished without an agreement on the constitutional amendments VMRO-DPMNE suggests, Macedonian Forum reports.
Another meeting is expected at the end of April. The governing VMRO-DPMNE and oppositional Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM) regard as unacceptable the proposals of the two Albanian parties – governing Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) and oppositional New Democracy – that culture and identification documents, as well as the national budget act should be adopted with a Badinter majority. DUI leader Ali Ahmeti suggested establishing working groups to discuss all proposals. The other leaders agreed with Ahmeti’s suggestion.
