Macedonia and Albania does not expect postponement of NATO membership over Kosovo

Skopje. Macedonian Minister of Defense Lazar Elenovski has assessed the information about the possible postponement of NATO membership invitation to Macedonia as speculations, the Macedonian MIA agency informed.
It was reported earlier today that only Croatia will receive invitation for NATO membership next year in April, while Albania and Macedonia will be left in the waiting list until Kosovo status issue is solved.
Yet, Elenovski pointed out that the geopolitical situation is an inevitable factor, but in this case he considers that if the situation remains the same it will not affect the invitation for NATO membership since Kosovo issue is being solved on a political and diplomatic level.
