Café security beat Russian diplomats in Macedonia

Four Russian diplomats were beaten in the Macedonian city of Skopje Oct 28. According to Macedonian interior ministry, the four diplomats were going to leave the café building when an a young man approached them and gave one of them several blows without giving explanations. Then the café security joined the assailant. There was 10 to 12 people among those who beat the diplomats, resulting in latter receiving heavy injuries. They were given initial medical assistance in a hospital and are now home.

According to Ekho Moskvy report, police is searching for the assailants. Russian foreign ministry is going to issue a protest note to the Macedonian side.
