Skopje. The Macedonian government is expecting MacInvest Agency, which has 20 new employees and whose budget has soared 4-5 times, to attract between EUR 250 – 300 million in foreign investments annually. This is what Macedonian TV station Kanal 5 reports.
The agency will focus its efforts on the sectors in which Macedonia is considered to have some advantages: agriculture, textile industry, car industry and IT.
Mac Invest is headed by the Brit James Blewett who has to account for all the funding the government has allotted for attracting foreign investments, Kanal 5 notes.
