Greece, Cyprus Block OMO Ilinden – Pirin

Skopje. Greece and Cyprus unlike Russia and Serbia, want to block the implementation of the decision of the court in Strasburg, the Macedonian TV channel SITEL reports, citing sources from Strasburg. This, according to the TV channel, is the result of the meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, where the conclusion to request complete implementation of the court decision for the registration of OMO Ilinden in Bulgaria, was not reached due to lack of consensus. The decision currently demands for only a fine.
Greece and Cyprus were in defense of Bulgaria against the request of Macedonia, Russia and Serbia according to SITEL. The rest of the 40 member states, according to SITEL, did not want to make the accession of Bulgaria to the EU difficult and stayed aside.
