Week of French Film in Macedonian Film Library

Macedonian Film Library, in cooperation with the French Cultural Center, organizes a Week of French Film from December 1 to 7.

Six films of French cinematography will be screened from the nouvelle vague (new wave) movement, representing this cinematography in an authentic way, said Film Library director Boris Nonevski.

The review will be opened with Elevator for Execution of Louis Malle, followed by Hiroshima, My Love of Alain Renee, two parts of Children of Paradize of Marcel Carnet, Army of Shadows of Jean Pierre Melville and Winter Story of Eric Romer.

According to Nonevski, Macedonia has been linked to the French film for years, because the first projections in Bitola in 1897 were organized by people from this country.
