Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo will strengthen their co-operation to foil a possible radical groups in any of the three countries, Macedonian PM Nikola Gruevski, Serbian President Boris Tadic and Kosovo’s PM Agim Ceku agreed in a telephone conversation, the Macedonian A1 TV channel informs.
They have expressed agreement that co-operation is needed, especially in the next two months when the decision on Kosovo is due. After Kosovo’s status is determined there might be unsatisfied groups trying to destabilize the region, A1 adds.
The phone conversation also specified the date when the talks on setting the border between Macedonia and Kosovo will kick off. Special envoy Martti Ahtisaari’s plan says this should be a fact 120 days after the plan is adopted by the UN Security Council, the Macedonian TV channel reminds.
