Greeces PPC eyes bidding for Negotino power station in Macedonia sources

Greek electricity utility Public Power Corp (PPC) is eyeing bidding for 100 pct of the Negotino 320 MW power station in the former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia through its SENCAP consortium, sources close to the matter told Euro2day newswire.

The sources added that Macedonias Finance Ministry will call a tender tomorrow for the Negotino power station. Bidders will have to install a new unit that burns natural gas or coal.

The SENCAP consortium also includes Italys Enel and the USs Contour Global, the sources said.
