A Macedonian policemen and an alleged accomplice were arrested after 135.7 kilograms (300 pounds) of cannabis was seized in a raid near the capital Skopje, authorities said Monday.
The drugs, packaged in 132 parcels, were found in a car late Sunday, when police raided a hotel car park, on the outskirts of Skopje, police spokesman Borce Pesevski said.
"The market value of the seized marijuana is estimated at about €200,000 ($260,000)," he said.
It was second large drug seizure in a week.
Police last weekend found 483 kilograms (1,065 pounds) of cocaine in a truck near the border with Kosovo, in a record haul worth €45 million ($58.23 million).
